La NBC si conferma il più coraggioso o incosciente dei network con un inizio di stagione quasi tradizionale che include, a novembre, nuovi episodi di This Is Us, del franchise di Chicago e di Superstore, mentre è rimandato a gennaio l’inizio di Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Good Girls, Making It, Manifest, New Amsterdam, Who Do You Think You Are?, Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist e delle nuove serie MR. MAYOR, SMALL FORTUNE, THAT’S MY JAM, TRUE STORY, KENAN, LAW & ORDER: ORGANIZED CRIME e YOUNG ROCK.
Il network aveva precedentemente cancellato A.P. Bio (salvato da Peacock), Blindspot, Bluff City Law, The Good Place, The InBetween, Indebted, Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector, Perfect Harmony, Sunnyside e Will & Grace.
